Planning your next Girl Scout adventure is easy! Here’s how to reserve your spot:

To Check Site Availability:

1. Choose Your Facility Type:
   • From the drop-down menu in the "Category" field, select the type of camping facility you'd like (e.g., building, permatents, day use, or primitive).
2. Select Your Dates:
   • Use the calendar to select your check-in and check-out dates.
3. Reserve Your Facility:
   • Click "Reserve." Your selection will appear in the "Reservation" list to the right of the calendar.
4. Reserve Additional Units (if needed):
   • If you need more than one building or unit, repeat the process. Otherwise, click "Checkout" to finalize your reservation.

Reservation Tips:

• Date Availability Key:
  • Dates in GRAY are available for reservation.
  • Dates with GREEN slashes indicate availability for checkout (2 PM).
  • Dates with RED slashes are not available for reservation.
• Advance Reservation Window:
  • Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance at 3 PM. For example, reservations for August 1 will open on May 1 at 3 PM.
  • Some weekends may be unavailable at the 3-month mark if a Service Unit (SU) or Council event is scheduled, which can be planned up to 6 months in advance.
  • Complete the large event/camping request form here.

Adventure Program Opportunities

Make your troop camping trip even more exciting by adding an Adventure Program!

1. Register for a Pre-Scheduled Adventure:
   • ​​Explore our upcoming pre-scheduled adventure programs and register your group for an available session.
2. Request a Private Session:
   • If the pre-scheduled options don’t work for your group, you can request a private adventure session by filling out this form: Private Adventure Session Request Form

Adventure programs are subject to availability, so be sure to plan early to secure your spot!

Important Information to Know

1. Water Access Update:
   • The Conestoga and Pack Train units no longer have running water. However, two filled potable water jugs will be provided for your use during your reservation.
2. Policies & Refunds:
   • Before completing your reservation, please review the Registration & Refund Policy.

Limited Availability

Limited availability at Camp Prairie Schooner means some facilities or areas may already be reserved due to events, programs, or maintenance. While the camp is open, options for troop camping or activities may be restricted.

Please note the following dates with limited availability for troop camping at Camp Prairie Schooner:

• September 19-20 – Weekend in the Woods
• October 23-25 – SU Event
• November 13-15 – SU Event
• November 20-21 – SU Event
• December 4-5 – SU Event

Availability may change depending on the Service Unit or Council events. If you’re unsure about a specific date or would like more information, please contact us.
